Custodian

Position Summary:

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment across school facilities. Works independently and as part of a team to ensure that spaces are ready for daily use and special events, and that any arising issues related to cleanliness or basic upkeep are addressed promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas


• Assists with basic maintenance and minor repairs as needed


• Responds to work requests and urgent situations in a timely, responsible manner


• Supports the setup and breakdown of rooms or spaces for activities and events


• Maintains awareness of safety, security, and cleanliness standards at all times


• Collaborates with school staff to ensure facilities meet daily operational needs

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and manage time effectively


• Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and schedules


• Physical capability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, standing, and repetitive motion


• Dependability, discretion, and a strong work ethic required
