We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced Custodian to maintain the cleanliness of the Company’s facilities and perform some light maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. 
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas according to established protocols.
• Cleans areas around mill machines and pipes by sweeping, removing sawdust using compressed air, and vacuuming as appropriate. 
• Empties trash receptacles and disposes of waste in designated areas.
• Monitors and replenishes cleaning supplies and reports any shortages or maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.
• Operates industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, pressure washers, and steam cleaners, safely and efficiently; and ensures equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Checks dust collection bags and receptacles and empties them as needed.
• Checks for and picks up trash around the back yard and outside of the building.
• Mows the grass around the building and maintains cleanliness around the trash dumpster and dock areas.
• Assists with minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, or servicing cleaning equipment, as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of commercial cleaning experience. 
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Must adhere to Company policies, procedures, and standards regarding cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of cleaning duties and support overall facility operations.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while interacting with coworkers, supervisors, and visitors.
