Custodian

We are currently hiring for the position of Custodian in Plano, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated facilities team in a clean, professional, and supportive environment. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the facility, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for employees, guests, and visitors.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and is detail-oriented. You'll play an essential part in the daily operations of the facility.

Salary: $16.00/hr - Paid Weekly

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, common areas, break-rooms, and other assigned spaces.


• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.


• Remove trash, recycling, and other waste from designated areas.


• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.


• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums.


• Report maintenance or safety issues to management in a timely manner.


• Follow proper procedures for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.


• Ensure all areas are kept secure and locked as required during and after shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 30 lbs.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Must be able to follow safety guidelines and instructions.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, if needed.
