Salary:  $15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities: 

As a Custodian, your day-to-day duties may include and are not limited to the following: 

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, and public spaces. 
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. 
• Remove trash ensuring proper disposal. 
• Collect and sort recyclable cardboard materials from designated areas. 
• Operate cardboard baler equipment safely and efficiently. 
• Feed cardboard into the baler and ensure proper binding of bales. 
• Stack or move completed bales to the appropriate storage area. 
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the baler and report malfunctions. 
• Keep the baler area clean, safe, and free from obstructions. 
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and restocking supplies. 
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures. 
• Management may assign other tasks as needed. 

• Collaborate closely with team members and other departments to ensure efficient warehouse/retail operations. 
• Attend daily morning huddles to identify the top priorities for the day. 
• The ability to manage physical tasks, such as lifting, reaching, standing, climbing, bending, and lifting products up to 50 pounds for prolonged periods of time, and staying active throughout your shift. 
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload, adapt to responsibility to change, meet deadlines and work under pressure. 
• Work in a fast-paced, warehouse/retail environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
• Detailed oriented and possessing basic time management skills.  
• Ability to work independently and be a team player. 
• Be dependable, flexible and treat others with kindness and respect. 

Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous custodial experience, preferred.
