About us!

We work closely with our customers to create unique flavor elements to ice cream bases and yogurt preps. Many of our ingredients end up in easily recognizable brands on the store shelf as we produce for both international corporations as well as smaller, local brands.  Our Research and Development is done in-house so we get to witness the whole process from ideation to creation.  We support regional trade organizations, source locally when appropriate and help to bring healthy food to people’s tables.

Custodian

Department:  Quality Assurance

Status: Non-exempt

Employee Classification: Regular Full-time

Reports To:  Quality Systems Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:  None

Job Summary: Will maintain cleanliness, organization and proper par levels of consumable products throughout the main offices, break rooms as well as Apple and Formulated Plants. Will practice all procedures in a safe manner.

Essential Functions:

1. Follows specific safety policies and standard operating procedures


2. 
   Wears Personal Protective Equipment  
   

1. Thoroughly cleans, disinfects and dusts all surface areas, including, but not limited to tables, counters, flooring, sinks, toilets and kitchen appliances.


2. Restock consumable supplies (paper products) as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Six to twelve months related experience and/or training.

1. In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, properties, dilutions, and proper applications.


2. Chemical Safety, Hard Floor Care, Carpet Care, including chemicals, equipment, and procedures.


3. Restroom Cleaning Care & Shower Room Care, including chemicals, equipment, and procedures.


4. Disinfection, including Blood borne Pathogens and OSHA Clean-Up Protocols.


5. Above-the-Floor Cleaning, including glass, stainless, wood, plastic, etc.

Working Conditions/Physical Factors:

1. Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.


2. Worker may be exposed to a loud working environment.


3. Worker may be exposed to hazards in the work place such as proximity to equipment conducting extreme heat, moving parts, and electrical current.


4. Must be able to work in environment containing allergens (nuts, milk, wheat, etc.).


5. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.


6. Frequently required to use hands and fingers. 


7. Frequently required to lift/push/pull/carry weight up to 50 pounds.


8. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles.


9. Hep B, Hep A and MMR immunizations are recommended within 30 days of employment, paid for by Ever Fresh Fruit Company
