The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming environment in the dealership's customer-facing and employee areas. This includes regular cleaning and upkeep of the offices, break-room, and showroom. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and helps ensure a positive first impression for customers and a comfortable workspace for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect office areas, desks (as needed), and shared workspace.


• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, break-room, and showroom.


• Wipe down tables, chairs, counter tops, and fixtures in break-room and waiting areas.


• Clean and sanitize restrooms used by staff and customers.


• Empty trash and recycling bins in all assigned areas.


• Clean glass surfaces including showroom windows and entrance doors.


• Restock restroom and break-room supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).


• Monitor and report any maintenance issues (leaks, damages, supply needs).


• Ensure the front entrance and customer lounge are tidy and presentable at all times.


• Follow all safety and cleaning protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a professional or retail setting preferred.


• Knowledge of cleaning products, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.


• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.


• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and walking.
