Overview

The Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment across US Conec’s office, manufacturing, and common spaces. This position supports daily operations by ensuring facilities are sanitary, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards while collaborating with operations, facilities, and workplace safety teams.

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness across offices, production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces through routine sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning

Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and high-touch surfaces to support a healthy workplace

Collect, separate, and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with facility procedures

Monitor and restock consumable supplies, including paper products, soap, and sanitation materials

Clean windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed to maintain a professional appearance

Support safe manufacturing and warehouse operations by maintaining orderly and hazard-free work areas

Follow established safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and required PPE

Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility issues such as spills, damage, or equipment concerns

Assist with room setup and post-event cleanup for meetings or special events as needed

Must Haves

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills

Basic knowledge of custodial cleaning methods, tools, and equipment

Commitment to following safety procedures and workplace standards

Nice to Haves

Prior custodial, janitorial, or facilities cleaning experience in an office or manufacturing environment

Experience working in a regulated or safety-focused workplace

Familiarity with proper handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies
