Custodian

Shift: 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri 1:30pm - 9:30pm, every other Saturday as needed. (Some flexibility in schedule if needed.)

Description: This individual will have duties related to janitorial and housekeeping responsibilities and general utility assignments throughout the facility. Janitorial and housekeeping duties shall include cleaning restrooms, cafeteria, entranceways, and office areas. This individual shall be responsible for sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, trash collection, and operating the floor scrubbers throughout the plant. Additional duties may include painting, operating a pressure washer, and assisting with clearing snow from outside walkways during snow and icy weather.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean floors, walls, high ceilings, bathrooms, breakrooms, and hard-to-reach areas


• Safely work from ladders for elevated cleaning tasks


• Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbing machines


• Maintain waste disposal systems and sanitize common areas


• Follow all safety protocols and report hazards promptly

Requirements: Prior experience with janitorial and housekeeping duties is preferred. Applicant must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, and stand or be mobile for periods in excess of 8 hours.
