Impec Group is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team at our client site in San Jose, CA. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance to create a comfortable and hygienic environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. Pay Rate $20/hr

Position Custodian [Temporary/Seasonal Summer: START DATE 6/28/24]

Schedule 8hrs/shift w/ 30 minute lunch, Monday to Friday 8:00PM to 4:30AM

Responsibilities

·       Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors

·       Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors

·       Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas

·       Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces

·       Monitor and refill cleaning supplies as needed

·       Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

·       Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

·       Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

·       Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations

·       Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

·       High school diploma or equivalent

·       Proven experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred

·       Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals

·       Ability to follow instructions and work independently

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if necessary

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
