National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Bilingual Janitor in Northbrook, IL area code 60062.

​Keeping shared areas in an apartment building clean is important for everyone's comfort and health.

Key tasks include:​

• Regular Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, lobbies, and stairwells; dust surfaces; and clean windows and doors.​
• Restroom Care: Clean and disinfect shared restrooms, ensuring they have enough toilet paper and soap.​
• Outdoor Maintenance: Pick up litter and maintain cleanliness around the building's exterior, including pool areas and barbecue grills.​
• Special Areas: Keep laundry rooms, community rooms, and conference rooms tidy and organized.​
• Waste Management: Empty trash bins regularly and remove waste from parking lots and surrounding areas.​
• High-Touch Surfaces: Clean door handles, elevator buttons, and handrails often to reduce germs.​
• Team Support: Respond quickly to cleaning requests from building management to keep all areas well-maintained.​

​The custodial position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.The hourly wage is $17.00, with bi-weekly pay periods.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to commute to work.​
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.​
• Immediate availability is preferred.​
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with all team members.​
• At least two years of custodial experience is preferred.​
• A background check will be conducted prior to employment.
