Be a part of the team that keeps our facilities safe, clean, and welcoming for all! As a Custodian, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining our spaces and ensuring a positive experience for staff and visitors.

The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, with occasional adjustments based on business needs. 

The salary range for this position is $21.23- $29.49/ Hr.  with an anticipated hiring range of $21.70-22.25/Hr. DOQ. 

Hours may vary, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required.

Custodian- Administration Center

JOB SPECIFIC INFORMATION

• Keep our spaces welcoming by cleaning floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas.


• Help create a safe environment by removing trash, recycling, and keeping both indoor and outdoor areas tidy.


• Lend a hand with room setups, moving furniture, and preparing spaces for daily activities.


• Pitch in with snow removal, salting walkways, and light outdoor upkeep to keep everyone safe.


• Assist with deliveries by loading/unloading supplies and equipment as needed.


• Take pride in inspections and minor repairs, while reporting larger maintenance needs.


• Check safety systems like fire extinguishers and emergency lights to ensure everything’s in working order.


• Be part of the team by following safety procedures, staying organized, and helping wherever needed.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS 

• Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.


• Heavy work, lifting up to 75 pounds frequently with assistance, 50 pounds often without assistance, and up to 20 pounds without assistance constantly 

• General work area is outdoors, with frequent exposure to natural and potentially extreme weather conditions while performing job duties


• Exposure to chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, cleaning solutions, solvents, petroleum products, etc.
