Custodian/Janitor - Manufacturing Facility 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Custodian / Janitor to help keep our manufacturing facility clean, organized, and safe. This position includes janitorial duties in both office spaces and production floor areas, supporting a clean work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in both administrative and industrial spaces

• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and production area walkways

• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility

• Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies

• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company safety standards

• Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor

• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as needed

• Respond promptly to spills or other cleaning-related issues on the production floor

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; industrial/manufacturing setting a plus

• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and floor equipment (auto scrubbers, buffers, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and stay organized

• Comfortable working around machinery and active production environments

• Able to lift up to 15 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, walking) for extended periods

• Must follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
