Custom Applicator

Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform custom application duties on customer fields using custom application equipment.

• Accurately document wind speed, temperature, soil-field conditions, wind direction, start and finish time.

• Deliver crop protection and crop nutrient products to the farm with Semi, Strait Truck or Pickup Truck.

• Perform regular maintenance of equipment (i.e., grease equipment, minor repairs, and wash equipment) and accurately document work done in maintenance log.

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting customers, maintaining outstanding standards, and solid product knowledge.

• Perform daily safety inspection of vehicle/equipment.

• Assist in elevator operations when required to do so.

• After proper training and instruction deliver propane to customers using bobtail truck.

• Adhere to all company and government safety policies and laws. 

• Other job-related duties will be assigned to or removed from the position as operational needs dictate.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

2. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.

3. Ability to work long varied hours/days and business dictates.

4. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. 

5. Class A CDL and Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.
