A highly respected South Florida general contractor is seeking an experienced Custom Homes Superintendent to join its luxury residential team. This is an opportunity to oversee the construction of some of the most significant custom residences in South Florida, including ultra-luxury estates exceeding 20,000–25,000 square feet.

The ideal candidate has a strong background managing high-end custom homes from the ground up and understands the level of craftsmanship, organization, and attention to detail required on projects of this caliber.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for large-scale, ground-up custom homes.
• Oversee projects from sitework and structural construction through high-end finishes, punch, and turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, consultants, and project management teams.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure critical milestones are achieved.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets exceptionally high standards for craftsmanship and finish.
• Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate upcoming work with trade partners.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
• Identify potential construction or scheduling issues and resolve them before they impact the project.
• Work closely with project executives and project managers on scheduling, procurement, RFIs, change orders, and overall project execution.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with owners, architects, designers, and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in custom residential or high-end construction.
• Demonstrated experience managing ground-up luxury custom homes or similarly complex, high-finish projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, MEP coordination, building envelope, interior finishes, and luxury residential construction.
• Ability to manage numerous subcontractors and specialty trades simultaneously.
• Strong scheduling, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience working with architects, interior designers, owners' representatives, and demanding private clients is highly valued.
• Procore or similar construction management software experience preferred.
