Job Description - Customer and Market Success Relationship Manager

Description

The Customer Success Relationship Manager is responsible for managing multiple existing customer accounts as well as supporting the development of potential new contract manufacturing and packaging opportunities with key customers across North America. The position will facilitate internal and external communication and drive sales strategies and tactics to increase customer retention and growth with existing customers as well as lead the integration of new customers in the CPG, Food & Beverage and Healthcare sectors into the Truvant portfolio. The Manager will also coordinate and align with global counterparts and lead the strategic account planning process for key customers. This role will report to the Senior Director of Customer Success for North America.  

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with Truvant partners, ensuring satisfaction and trust.

  • Sales & Revenue Growth:

Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with customers to drive volume, profitability, and mutual success.

  • Forecasting & Planning:

Develop accurate forecasts and sales plans in collaboration with the customer and internal teams to ensure production and supply alignment.

  • Contract Negotiation:

Lead and/or support pricing discussions, commercial terms, and annual negotiations in alignment with business strategy and margin targets.

  • Project Management:

Oversee the successful delivery of customer projects including new product launches, packaging updates, and promotional campaigns.

  • Cross-Functional Liaison:

Work closely with internal teams (NPD, Technical, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.

  • Market & Customer Insight:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

Produce regular reports on account performance, sales trends, profitability, and KPIs for senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation acumen
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting (Excel, ERP/CRM systems, PPT)
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused
  • Ideally has Contract Manufacturing and/or Contract Packaging experience
  • Ideally has CPG/FMCG, Food & Beverage or Healthcare manufacturing or packaging 
  • Must be able to work independently however be an outstanding team player
  • 10-20% travel required, less if local to Wisconsin 
  • Ability to deeply understand customer needs and maintain a strong customer focus 
  • Ability to navigate complex customer organizational structures and build strong relationships 
  • Knowledge of the food manufacturing process and supply chain dynamics a plus
