Shift and Days: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Customer Care Representative-Field Investigator is responsible for responding to questions and concerns from customers regarding accounts and providing related support and performing the physical posting of properties during water shut off season. Answers general customer questions and concerns regarding account status, billings, payments, payment arrangements and other account information. Receives and processes a variety of forms, applications, and documents regarding accounts, statements, requests for information, and other account questions. Prepares forms, documents, and other statements required for account openings and closings, changes in billing and ownership information. Assists in the follow up of delinquent and outstanding accounts through incoming and outgoing courtesy/collection calls. Prepare documentation and basic reports. Assists the Field Investigator in the physical posting of WSO Posting and Termination accounts. Responds to customer service inquiries regarding location regarding account and billing questions to gather information needed to resolve customer or department questions and concerns. Completes appropriate forms and documents regarding the process and outcome of investigations. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, or G.E.D.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Performing basic office duties; Performing basic mathematical calculations; Providing basic customer Care; Operating a computer and applicable software applications. Utility billing procedures; Utility account information; Basic utility equipment. Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive directions.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
