Customer Care Representative

Location – Circleville or Lancaster, Ohio

Job Area – Deposit Operations

FLSA Classification – Non-Exempt

Supervisory Responsibility – None

The Customer Care Representative role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and requests while maintaining the highest level of customer service and confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide strong customer service while listening and eliciting information efficiently to resolve customer issues.

· Recognize when to leverage resources to resolve customer issues and/or concerns.

· Process customer transactions including but not limited to funds transfer, loan payments and check orders.

· Assist customers with account, online banking, BillPay and debit card inquiries.

· Maintenance account changes, or as necessary, closures are warranted.

· Maintain knowledge of bank products and services.

· Provide support for Deposit Operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at both written and verbal levels.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and high degree of accuracy.

· Microsoft Office, or equivalent, knowledge.

· Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.

Education and Experience

· One year customer service experience.

· Previous banking experience preferred.

· High School diploma or GED equivalent.
