This position is an entry level customer relationship management position that provides an opportunity to grow into other customer relations and/or sales positions within the company. The primary purpose of the Account Representative is to support various internal and external sales channels through supporting current clients as well as executing organizational cross-sell initiatives. This position requires a person who is extremely pro-active, receives and asks for direction well, and is proficient in multi-tasking. This person must exemplify strong communication and above average attention to detail.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Develop strong and trusted relationships with customers through timely and accurate communications
- Resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Sets up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
- Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Work with inside and outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date
- Prepare and follow-up on direct customer renewals
- Additional duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
A BA/BS or Associates Degree preferred
Previous sales experience preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Adobe PDF documents
Must have proficient key boarding skills, computer knowledge and experience
Reports to:
Agent Channel/Sales Manager/Operations manager
Hours: 40 hours per week (M-F) from 8:30am – 5:00pm CST (Non-Exempt) Overtime may be worked only with prior approval from a supervisor/ manager
