Gradient is hiring a Customer Relations Manager to join our team!



Key Details:



  • Salary: $78,726/year

  • Location: You will rotate between our Clackamas and Jubitz (N. PDX) locations

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (must be available to work Saturday shifts as needed, 8 am – 2 pm)

Who You Are: You are a people-first leader who thrives on coaching others toward growth, clarity, and confidence. Other qualifications include:



  • 3+ years of experience coaching, developing, and leading a team

  • Experience in business-to-business customer relations

  • Strategic planning and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to identify personnel, training, and resource gaps within the team

  • Experience building strong relationships and delivering excellent customer service

  • Experience working in a small business (fewer than 200 employees)

  • Familiarity with regulatory industries preferred

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (you must be able to commute between our two locations as needed), and vehicle insurance

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test (including THC)




What You’ll Do: As Customer Relations Manager, you’ll lead a team of clinical professionals who are on the front lines of workplace health and safety. You’ll collaborate with leadership to align your team’s efforts with company goals, providing clear direction and support along the way. Your day-to-day will include coaching team members, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and helping your team deliver exceptional service. You’ll work closely with our Director of Training to build learning programs that strengthen your team’s knowledge and confidence. Through thoughtful planning and communication, you’ll create systems that help your team stay focused, efficient, and ready to meet the needs of our clients.


 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Lead and motivate your team toward shared goals aligned with the company’s mission, values, and vision.

  • Provide leadership with insights into team performance and customer experience.

  • Address performance issues and coach team members through challenges and growth opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and values-driven team culture.

  • Ensure consistency and compliance across clinical sites through shared standards and processes.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of team members.

  • Deliver effective resource planning and step in to support staffing needs when necessary.

  • Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and internal quality standards.

  • Continuously improve testing processes and reduce friction in daily operations.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure excellent service delivery.
