Job Description - Customer Service Agent-GMC



We are seeking energetic individuals to join us in our unique and fast-paced Service Department as a Customer Service Agent for McKinney Buick GMC. If you are great at customer service and are looking for a role that has many facets to it then this could be the job for you. This job offers some flexibility in scheduling and offers Saturday hours. This job is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to get into the car business but doesn’t know where to start and may not want to work on cars or sell them.  This opportunity affords you the ability to work in a great team environment and become familiar with the service side of a car dealership.  As a Customer Service Agent you may have the opportunity to cross train into various other roles on our service team.  In this role, you will be the link between the guest and the service advisors. This role can have you function as a cashier at times and working on administrative duties at other times.  This is a multi-faceted role with good customer service skills at its core.

Responsibilities



  • Be a direct contact whether in person, or, on the phone for our customers

  • Handling financial transactions with accuracy, this includes cash, credit cards and checks.

  • Accurately handling a large number of vehicle records accurately and making sure they are filed properly.

  • Participate in team & process development sessions 


Qualifications



  • At least one previous role based in strong customer service experience

  • Must be able to work assigned shift, which includes at least some Saturdays. 

  • Team player attitude

  • Prompt and courteous

  • Enthusiastic personality

  • Must have strong computer skills

  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
