Job Description - Customer Service Assistant

POSITION OVERVIEW
Join our customer-focused team as a Customer Service Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional support to our clients. You’ll handle inquiries via phone and email, process orders, resolve customer concerns, and ensure accurate documentation of all interactions in our database. If you’re organized, tech-savvy, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you. We prefer candidates with at least three years of customer service or administrative experience, but we’re open to training the right person who demonstrates a willingness to learn and grow with our team.


 


TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES


 


1.    Complex Troubleshooting for all Product Line and Chep equipment


2.    Advance SCOUT management and quotes that have Assembly and/or Installation


3.    Providing Service Parts Assistant Level 3


4.    Complex Part Identification for all equipment


5.    Complex Maintenance and configuration best practices


 


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES 


 


1.    Generate regular reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for management.


2.    Gains Exposure to some of the complex Department Projects


3.    Initiate Learning and training


4.    Communicate with leaders


5.    Work closely with Controls Engineers


6.    Keeping processes up to date


7.    Recognizing need of Quality Alerts and Service Bulletins


 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE


 


·         At least 3 years of experience in customer service


·         High school diploma or equivalent education/experience.


·         Excellent customer-facing communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).


·         Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.


·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


·         Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail


·         Ability to handle multiple accounts and tasks effectively.


·         A positive, customer-focused attitude and eagerness to learn.
