Job Description - Customer Service ECommerce

Customer Service Associate ECommerce


 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Process ECommerce orders including shipping paperwork and details

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and sales support via phone, email, online chat, & social media

  • Receive and answer customer inquiries and concerns, including requests for product information, order tracking, issue resolution, and general information

  • Resolve post-order issues such as returns, replacements, delivery status and back orders

  • Partner with operations daily 

  • Proactively provide solutions 

  • Cross train with bulk container Customer Service


 


Requirements:


To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:



  • 1-3 years of experience in the furniture industry highly desired

  • Have excellent listening and communication skills

  • Have the ability to clearly speak and be understood on the phone

  • Have the ability to utilize technology and respond to customers electronically

  • Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms

  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task skills to enter accurate data and type while speaking with customers

  • Remain calm and able to work under pressure when busy and help other team members

  • Self-manage daily tasks and workload

  • Show a high level of personal organizational skills

  • Creative aptitude and vision to recognize, understand and respond to the needs of customers

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments as needed

  • Prioritize inquiries based on level of urgency, identifying matters that require an immediate response

  • Other job duties as assigned by management


 


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • 3+ years in customer service with furniture and Operations is a plus

  • Working knowledge of website navigation

  • Container Customer Service and/or Logistics experience is a plus

  • Furniture or Furniture parts experience is a plus


 


Pay based on experience; $18-$20/hr.
