JOB TITLE: Customer Service Liaison
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
SUPERVISOR: Employment Manager
General Job Description:
Oversight of all donations and OWC Secondhand Treasures. Work closely with a team of individuals and staff from the Transitional department sourcing stylish clothing & household items of good quality to be sold in OWC Secondhand Treasures. Daily posting of OWC products and donations to our online store/eBay/Etsy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Learn & follow all policy & procedures of the agency
· Learn and follow all safety & emergency procedures for the agency
· Participate in all company fundraisers and events
· Perform other duties as assigned, or as they arise
· Must be able to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month on a rotating basis
· Follow social media advertising and schedules
TYPICAL WORKDAY:
· Check messages for social media and eBay
· Get any orders sent out that day
· Update sales book
· Update listings, pictures and online products for the online store/eBay/Etsy
· Social post for the store
· Every Friday – Put out a featured product post aimed at the following week
WEEKLY DUTIES:
· Look forward on calendar
· Plan ahead for seasonal items, and holidays
· Create plan/scheme for upcoming holidays and/or seasonal changes
MONTHLY DUTIES:
· Push items that are not gaining traction
· Up promotions
· Email promotions
· Donorview - alerts and sales
· Cycle out products on the online store
· Create a basic post for the Secondhand store on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media’s
· Change out both window displays
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
Degree in Marketing or similar field, minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in human service or other relevant area. Level of education can be substituted with additional experience, minimum two (2) supervisory experiences. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance. First Aid, CPR, a plus, Proven Marketing skills and aptitude. Exceptional social media skills and knowledge, website design experience a plus.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Media production, using social media as fundraising tool, marketing. Have the ablity to: follow projects through, be a team player, interact with and persuade the community (sales), hold a flexible work schedule, excellent computer and verbal skills, reliable, able to multi-task and able to work independently for the benefit of OWC, have strong social media skills and represent yourself in a proffessional manner always (business casual).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
