Job Description - Customer Service Manager

We are a vibrant and fast-paced retail store known for high-quality boots and the famous "Buy 1 pair Get 2 Free" deal. We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Manager (CSM) to join our team. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and offer a wide selection of over 20,000 boots from renowned national brands such as Justin, J.B. Dillon, Masterson, Harley Davidson, Sterling River, and more. 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing customer satisfaction, leading our team, and driving the overall success of our store. Your leadership will inspire and guide our staff while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in daily store operations

- Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales goals

- Foster a positive and engaging work environment

- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management

- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance

- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and customer engagement

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous retail experience, preferably in a leadership role (minimum 2 years)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Passion for customer service and a positive attitude

- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays


Requirements

Essential Physical Requirements and Qualifications: (Lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, climbing, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift)

  • Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Ability to climb ladders, when needed to retrieve stock.
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-60 pounds.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
