Customer Service Rep/Dispatch
The Customer Service Representative performs a wide variety of tasks but generally serves as a liaison between our customers and Advanced Business Methods. This person must be well organized have excellent clerical skills for completing routine tasks. This position also requires good interpersonal skills for communicating with numerous people both internal and external to the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily actions such as receive incoming phone calls from customers for service or supplies. Complete service and supply orders from customers and follow up that fulfillments were processed in a timely manner. Answer customer questions regarding service and supply requests. Report client concerns with department managers. Perform daily actions such as billing and shipping audits, review pending supply orders and check supply backorder status with the warehouse manager. Coordinate special supply orders as necessary with the purchasing department. Greet guests and maintain and orderly and cheerful environment for customers and employees. If assigned, lock and unlock front doors, maintain stock of office supplies, and help process the daily mail. Assist customers or other employees with requests. Process inventory transfers. Handle filing and document storage of all sales and contract agreements from
the sales and service department. Other duties upon request.
Experience Requirements:
· One‐year Microsoft Windows or Mac computer experience
· One‐year clerical or customer service-related experience
· Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
Job Specifications:
· High school diploma required
· Good written, verbal and listening skills
Other Requirements:
· Ability to work for long periods at a time, sitting at a desk using a computer monitor, keyboard, and telephone, up to eight hours a day as required. Possess clear vision and hearing with
corrective means if required.
Pay Range: $18-$21 per hour/depending on experience.
