Job Description - Customer Service Representative

Plumbing Dispatch Customer Service Representative
Full-Time | Universal Home Services

We are currently seeking a full-time Plumbing Dispatch Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, office administration, or dispatch.
We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn.



Responsibilities:



  • Answer incoming customer calls in a friendly, professional manner

  • Schedule plumbing service appointments efficiently

  • Dispatch technicians to job sites and monitor progress to ensure on-time arrival

  • Maintain accurate customer records and job schedules

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Communicate with customers regarding job status or updates

  • Provide excellent customer service and handle concerns with empathy and professionalism


Requirements:



  • Customer service, office administration, or dispatch experience preferred — but not required

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage priorities

  • Comfortable using computer systems, scheduling software, and multitasking between platforms

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and some weekends

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college education is a plus
