Job Description - Customer Service Representative



Position Summary: 
Looking for a dynamic team player that specializes in excellent Customer Service. This person will provide support to internal and external customers to include order entry, phone support, and overall communications about commercial food service equipment. Works collaboratively with other functional areas to set and meet priorities that support the business strategy. Performs all other duties as assigned.   

Major Accountability
  • Manages order entry and order acknowledgement in a timely manner according to company processes and procedures.  
  • Manages all forms of communication providing relevant information about commercial food service products.
  • Accurately maintain all customer master files.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain all customer file with orders, returns, and credits issued.
  2. Customer Service-related experience tasks and responsibilities.
  3. Verification and management of customer master file data to include product codes, purchase order numbers, payment and shipping terms.
  4. Ability to use judgement to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
  5. Ability to handle customer calls with enthusiasm and professionalism and email customers regularly with order confirmations and updated delivery schedules.
  6. Understanding bills of materials and/or parts lists for production.
  7. Able to assist customers in identifying solutions for their food service needs. 
Special Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of operating computer system such as AX, and phone system on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Sute.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Normal Office environment where you may be required to occasionally lift up to 35lbs.
