Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 Hours/Week)
Job Overview
The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to join the Vital Records team in Phoenix, AZ. This is an onsite role requiring local candidates only. You will be responsible for providing high-quality service to customers requesting birth and death certificates, ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all records and transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, efficient service to walk-in customers in the Vital Records lobby.
- Process requests for birth and death certificates with attention to detail.
- Ensure all outgoing mail is properly packaged, secured, and processed daily.
- Handle and secure customer information, cash receipts, certified paper, applications, and confidential documents.
Required Skills
3+ years experience in a client-facing position.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
Preferred Skills
- Front desk or reception experience.
- Comfortable interacting in social settings.
- Strong data entry skills.
Additional Information
Local candidates only – no relocation offered.
- No background check required, but must apply for a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
