Purpose at Ashley:â¯â¯â¯
The Customer Service Representative is the front-line ambassador for Ashley, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for every customer. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing administrative support to store operations whileâ¯assistingâ¯with various office functions. The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in building customer relationships and supports the operational excellence that drives Ashley's retail success.â¯
Whatâ¯You’llâ¯Doâ¯â¯â¯â¯â¯
Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet all customers in a warm, professional mannerâ¯representingâ¯Ashley's brand image. Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications.â¯
Sales Order Support:â¯Assistâ¯with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation isâ¯complete,â¯and proper approvals are obtained beforeâ¯finalizingâ¯transactions.â¯
Customer Account Management:â¯Process customer credit applications,â¯assistâ¯with financing arrangements, andâ¯maintainâ¯accurateâ¯customer account information in retail management systems.â¯
Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions according to company policies under Office Manager supervision.â¯
Customer Issue Resolution:â¯Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to Management asâ¯appropriate whileâ¯following up to ensure resolution.â¯
Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support Management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation and verifying accuracy of paperwork.â¯
Reporting & Documentation:â¯Maintainâ¯accurateâ¯records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperworkâ¯isâ¯properly completed and filed according to company standards.â¯
Team Collaboration:â¯Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.â¯
Technology & Systems:â¯Utilizeâ¯point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently and accurately.â¯

What You Bringâ¯â¯
Legally authorized to work in the US.â¯â¯â¯
At least 18 years oldâ¯â¯â¯
High school diploma or equivalentâ¯â¯â¯
Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactionsâ¯â¯
1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience,â¯preferredâ¯â¯â¯
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends andâ¯holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities – various shiftsâ¯
Maintain reliableâ¯attendanceâ¯â¯
