Job Description - Customer Service Representative

Eaton\u2019s IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $65000 - $ 93,000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n* This role must report on-site at our Camarillo , CA location. Typical Work hours are 8 - 5 pm M-F. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nPRIMARY FUNCTION: \nThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing business interactions and relationships with customers. Achieve customer satisfaction, manage performance against customer requirements in accordance with contract. Serve as a primary communication internally and externally to fulfill contract obligations meeting quality, cost, and on-time delivery as well as additional growth opportunities and strengthen customer loyalty. \n \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: \nA. Serve as the primary source of contact for assigned Customers related inquiries and represent the voice of the Customers. \nB. Manage all aspects of the Customer relationship and daily interactions. \nC. Support Order Management to ensure accurate and timely Order processing and returns. \nD. Understand all executed contract terms for assigned Customers through collaboration with Contracts Team. \nE. Monitor existing contracts for compliance relative to delivery requirements. \nF. Develop and maintain Customer specific manuals, as well as key contractual elements. \nG. Negotiate and manage changes in Customer demand to ensure accurate flow down in support of on-time delivery. \nH. Follow up on quotes and monitoring quotes \nI. Maintain knowledge and train others to navigate and manage Customer schedules \nJ. Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Customers for quick resolution to contested invoices and deductions. \nK. Know and apply all terms of Long-Term Agreements for assigned Customers. Develop and maintain Customer information documents for other team member\u2019s use. \nL. Work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure Customer On-Time Delivery \nM. Proactively monitor Customer delivery schedules and track critical shortages. Team with Supply Chain Management or Customer Logistic Service to expedite urgent Customer needs. \n \n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited institution. \n\u2022 3 + years of experience in customer service, contract administration or customer support related experience.\n\n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. \u0027Green Card Holder\u0027), Political Asylee, or Refugee .\n\n\u2022 Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. \n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Previous experience supporting Manufacturing products / customers.\n\n\u2022 Previous Aerospace experience .\n\n\u2022 Work experience with SAP and/ or MFG Pro. \n\n\u2022 Work experience in a customer support role for technical products. \n\u2022 Experience with preparing quotes. \n\u2022 Proficiency or knowledge of ERP systems. \n\u2022 Prior experience with customer portals. \n\u2022 Demonstrated experience working with MS Office software package. \n\u2022 Analytical skills and detail-orientation. \n\u2022 Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in an efficient manner, and work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently. \n\u2022 Ability to work on time sensitive projects, meet critical deadlines, and deliver commitments in a calm and organized manner. \n\u2022 Customer service skills and aptitude..\n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Criteria:\n\n \n\u2022 Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to support internal and external contacts within a multi-cultured environment \n\u2022 Demonstrated experience working with SAP software package \n\u2022 Analytical skills and detail-orientation. \n\u2022 Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in an efficient manner, and work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently \n\u2022 Ability to work on time sensitive projects, meet critical deadlines, and deliver commitments in a calm and organized manner \n\u2022 Customer service skills and aptitude\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
