As a Customer Service Representative, you'll often be the first impression a customer has of Portland Glass. Whether someone is dealing with a damaged windshield, coordinating an insurance claim, scheduling a service appointment, or simply looking for information, you'll play a critical role in delivering a positive and professional customer experience from the very first interaction.

• Answer incoming customer calls in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.

• Listen carefully to customer needs, ask the right questions, and identify the best solution for each situation.

• Guide customers through the next steps of the repair or replacement process, including insurance claims, scheduling, sales inquiries, and vendor coordination.

• Follow established processes and communication scripts to ensure a consistent customer experience while personalizing each interaction.

• Accurately document customer information, service requests, and appointment details within company systems.

• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, insurance partners, and service teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.

• Resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Maintain a strong understanding of Portland Glass products, services, and processes to confidently assist customers.

• Meet and exceed daily productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

• Collaborate with teammates on process improvements, special projects, and team initiatives that support business growth.

• Contribute to a positive, customer-focused culture that reflects Portland Glass's commitment to service excellence.

• 1-2 years of customer service experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.

Education: High school diploma or GED required

What Knowledge and Skills are Preferred?

• 3+ years of customer service experience

• Call center experience preferred
