Position Overview
Under the direction of the operations supervisor, the customer service representative (CSR) is the initial contact with the public via telephone for paratransit services provided by Clallam Transit System (CTS). This position evaluates service requests, schedules approved requests, and coordinates service delivery. Provides critical contributions to support CTS’s mission.
Required Qualifications
Possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (GED) and two years reception and customer service experience; OR any satisfactory equivalent combination of related experience and training that provides required knowledge, abilities, and skills.
Summary of Working Conditions
This position is not safety-sensitive and is represented by the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 587. Work variable hours and days including weekends and holidays, based on assigned work. Position is non-exempt and overtime may be required.

$21.43 - $26.79 an hour
Wage begins at $21.43 per hour, moving to $22.77 per hour after successful completion of the 180-day probationary period. CSR’s receive pay increases on their anniversaries up to $26.79 (2024-2026 wage scale) and annual cost of living increases.
