As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Byron Center Rentals team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building positive relationships with customers and teammates.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Byron Center, Michigan.

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience
• Quarterly utilization bonus opportunity (eligible after 90 days)

Position Summary

As the first point of contact for rental and leasing customers, the Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position supports rental operations through customer communication, contract administration, order processing, equipment coordination, and problem resolution.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and CRM platforms.
• Process trailer rental and lease transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage GPS tracking devices on rental equipment.
• Assist customers with rental agreements, insurance requirements, and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account information in company systems.
• Partner with Sales, Service, and Operations teams to support seamless rental activities.
• Support administrative functions including scheduling, filing, and data management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Preferred

• Associate degree in Business, Communications, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience within transportation, logistics, fleet management, equipment rental, or trucking industries.
• Experience with CRM platforms and customer account management systems.

Technology & Systems

Experience with the following is beneficial:
