Job Title : Patient Services Case Administrator
Duration : 5 months

(Convert to perm)
Location : San Diego, CA 92121

Description:
• Must have strong customer service skills and high emotional intelligence. Will take customer service experience over medical or clinical practice experience. Must have experience and be able to work and speak with the public, understand the nuances and how people work , etc. Will be talking to breast cancer patients that are 5 years post diagnosis and on medication. Looking for someone who can think quickly on their feet, pivot direction really easily, adaptable (restaurant industry has been helpful in this, etc)
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Dealing with patient lives and medical record setting, attention to detail is incredibly important. If there are a lot of typos, etc in a resume, they will be rejected.
• Some medical setting BG helps, but a lot of that can be taught, cannot teach soft skills, high EQ (emotional intelligence, helps with the success with the role), can read through what patients are saying verbally without seeing them.
• Manager is looking at longevity in workplace on resumes– Looking at stability because want to invest in this person. If short term assignments, note why the assignment was short. Goal is to convert within 6 months, but want it to be a good fit for both the team and candidate
• Education – HS Diploma, College degree not required

training sessions promptly and demonstrates the capacity to recall information effectively.
Communication –
• Capable of conveying and receiving information in a professional and courteous manner.
• Can utilize cognitive empathy when speaking with patients, offices, and other departments.
• Must capture comprehensive notes and call summaries, ensuring that any agent can seamlessly take over and assist the patient.
