Job Description - Customer Service Representative

Johnson Brothers, a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative for our facility in Raleigh, NC. The CSR is responsible for ensuring that services provided to all internal and external customers meet or exceed company standards. The CSR will become proficient in understanding company products, ordering tracking systems, and customer file maintenance to effectively take customer orders and address any complaints or issues.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers primarily by phone, both inbound and outbound, to gather information used to key in orders in computer database.
Checks inventory periodically preparing allocations and noting merchandise that may be out of stock.
Handles customer administration to include customer set up and maintenance.
Maintains customer records (both manually and on the computer) to produce and distribute daily, weekly or monthly sales reports from database.
Check and update expiring temporary, suspended, and cancelled customer state alcohol permits daily.
Resolves customers' service or billing complaints by exchanging merchandise, handling credits and adjusting bills.
Provides office support by assisting co-workers as needed to handle an increased customer load.
Fill in for receptionist for breaks, lunch, and PTO.
Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good computer skills - Word and Excel experience desired
Must be flexible to work schedule and ability to adjust for changes in workload
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
