Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role in supporting the company’s sales efforts by serving as a vital link between internal departments and external customers. This exempt, salaried position is responsible for managing all aspects of customer orders—from order initiation through to final invoicing—while delivering exceptional service and proactive communication throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders by preparing accurate documentation and support materials that clearly define order requirements.

• Respond to customer inquiries—including requests for quotations, order status updates, and general product information—in a timely and professional manner.

• Serve as a liaison between assigned Sales Representatives and customers to support business needs and ensure clear, consistent communication.

• Maintain regular communication, both written and verbal, with internal departments and external customers.

• Update and maintain Job Status Reports to reflect the current state of active orders and pending projects.

• Identify and communicate customer needs, trends, or potential improvements to processes and services.

• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to confirm availability and procurement of materials required for customer orders.
