Customer Service Representative (Dispatcher)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Construction Company in Scottsdale, AZ that is looking for a Dispatcher to add to the team. This is a Full-Time In-Office Monday through Friday position. Pay rate: $21- $26 per hour depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have high-volume emergency dispatching experience.
Job Summary:

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating delivery schedules with plant production and yard personnel, handling customer service communications, generating necessary documents, and assigning drivers. This role requires maintaining effective communication with drivers and striving for high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Scheduling:

Work with plant production and yard personnel to establish delivery schedules based on truck capacities, delivery site distances, and unloading times.
Customer Coordination:

Communicate with customer service representatives to confirm delivery times.
Documentation:

Generate invoices, delivery tickets, and related shipping documents.
Driver Assignment:

Assign drivers for scheduled deliveries of concrete products.
Sales Reporting:

Create reports for cash and charge sales.
Customer Satisfaction:

Strive to meet customer expectations and achieve high satisfaction survey results in line with strategic objectives.
Problem Resolution:

Collaborate with operations and sales teams to resolve issues and improve service quality.
Internal Relationships:

Build strong working relationships with internal customers to ensure their needs are met.
Mix Documentation:

Record quantities of sand, cement, gravel, and water required for each mix on loading tickets.
Communication:

Maintain radio contact with drivers to expedite deliveries.
Procedure Improvement:

Suggest procedural improvements to management to enhance customer service.
Safety Compliance:

Follow all company and OSHA safety rules and regulations, and wear proper safety equipment on plant grounds.
Safety Standards:

Meet or exceed company safety standards.
Additional Duties:

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in generating and managing shipping documents and reports.
2+ years of recent High-Volume or Emergency Dispatching Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred not required
