EdAmerica of Knoxville, TN is looking to hire several onsite full-time Customer Service Representatives. Edamerica is an extended business office for colleges and universities across the country. In these concerning economic times, you will have peace of mind knowing we are a solid company, and there is always work to be done in higher education.

Requirements

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm EST

Schedules will be created within these time frames based on business need at time of hire.

  • Responsible for the security of workstation and work area in regards to the confidentiality of the data and the systems
  • Review Employee Handbook quarterly for changes and updates
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality
  • Maintain professional dress and behavior
  • Maintain positive attitude under stress
  • All employees are expected to represent the company and its interests in a positive, professional manner inside and outside of the corporate environment.
  • Work and communicate in a team environment.
  • Type data into required systems with both speed and accuracy.
  • Handle inbound and/or outbound phone calls on behalf of school client’s offices
  • Assist other areas of company as needed and maintain standards as assigned
  • Ability to work independently on tasks such as manual calls, completing return mail, skip tasks, and adding reference information to accounts while meeting completion timelines set per department.
  • Maintain department standards and achieve goals
  • High-level of knowledge of the financial aid process and all loan phases, from pre-loan thru pay-off, including the ability to answer loan status questions.
  • Provide feedback to department and company.
  • Meet Edamerica standards/expectations for call statistics (average handle time and aux usage), quality and schedule adherence
  • Assist with projects as needed.
  • Be able to work all shifts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
