A premier manufacturer local to Bucks County, PA, is searching for a Customer Service Representative for their Sales department. As a Customer Service Representative, you will offer timely and efficient administrative and communication assistance to customers for product quotes, order management, expedited requests, and shipping details to ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will also redirect customer queries to appropriate internal technical support when needed.
Responsibilities:
* Address and fulfill customer inquiries regarding product literature, sample requests, price quotes, and delivery details.
* Manage, schedule, and process customer sales orders, as well as handle any changes to existing orders.
* Coordinate expedited delivery requests from customers and provide timely responses.
* Assist customers with sales order shipment tracking and provide necessary information.
* Act on order management reports, addressing issues like hold codes and price discrepancies.
* Oversee and uphold term agreements with key accounts and consignment customers, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
* Communicate and enforce Company policies to customers, including those related to Cancellations/Rescheduling and Warranty.
* Support corporate Customer Satisfaction objectives through accurate and prompt communication and administrative tasks.
* Undertake additional Customer Service tasks as needed, including special projects or administrative assignments.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 5 year's experience in Customer Service or Sales with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
* Computer literacy is key. Knowledge of SAP, EDI, and MS Dynamics a plus but not required.
* Previous industry experience ideal, but not required!
