Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Excellent, Professional and Timely Customer Service whether handling customer inquiries, complaints, quotes, or support in order maintenance processes
- Ability to successfully coordinate and collaborate between multiple departments, customers, and service providers
- Provide Clerical Support to daily operations- Including, but not limited to answering the Telephone/ Emails, Photocopying, Printing, Faxing, Filing, Record Maintenance
- Assist with Data Entry for Delivery Order, Schedule, Rate and Availability information
- Collect, Safekeep, and Help Upkeep all Relevant Customer data
- Maintain open communication with customers to ensure all parties are clear in direction, whether confirming pickup/ delivery time and date, ensuring all mandatory forms are completed and attached, or if any moves need to have any specialized freight requirements or appointment
- Assist Customers in Tracking and Tracing their freight, when needed
- Notify customers of Freight Availability, Capacity, and other Important Information.
- Will need to maintain knowledge of company services
- Work and Coordinate Effectively with Dispatch Team to ensure freight is delivered on time
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Strong understanding of all MS Office Programs and Freight operating systems
- Relevant customer service experience can include transportation, freight brokerage, moving companies, logistics, linehaul, intermodal, warehouse, ground operations, and dispatching air and ocean service
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Punctuality, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Work well under pressure and stressful situations
- Type 30+ WPM preferred
