Job Description - Customer Service Retail Credit Specialist


  

Reports to NA Customer Service Supervisor. Responsible for processing Retail credits, corrective invoices, returns, call tags and freight claims.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Home Depot, Home Depot Dot Com, Lowe’s: 

  • Print Home Depot Dot Com RTV’s from Home Depot Website using spreadsheet in Big Box Credits shared folder. 
  • Receive warehouse return paperwork and match to printed RTV’s 
  • Maintain file for unmatched RTV’s
  • Maintain file for unidentified warehouse return paperwork
  • Analyze and prep Home Depot Dot Com credits:
  • Calculate pricing and freight 
  • Determine if credit should be issued or disputed (Give all disputes to A/R)
  • Issue credits for HD Dot Com & Genco that will be included in the Big Box Credits shared folder.
  • Issue credit for Rebate/Co-op deductions once a month (time-sensitive) 
  • Amounts will be provided by AR retail clerk shared folder
  • Maintain RTV spreadsheet and add credit information
  • Follow-up on previous months’ RTV’s
  • Issue call tags when applicable, with regular follow-up (information received by Retail Team via credit requests or damage notifications)
  • Issue freight claims when applicable, with regular follow-up (received from UPS or Retail Team)
  • Issue credits for Home Depot open freight charges on RTV’s– Amount will be provided by AR.
  • Issue credits for denied disputes (information will be included in Box Credits shared folder.)
  • Collaborate with Retail Team regarding credit requests/call tags
  • Issue credits for Lowe’s deductions, chargebacks, and unpaid invoices – Provided by AR.
  • Collaborate with A/R Retail Clerk regarding credits, call tags, unpaid invoices, etc.
  • Maintain current records and files in CRM and Document Management system. 
  • Other responsibilities that arise during the training period.

Floor & Décor – amounts provided by Retail and confirmed by A/R 

  • Volume Rebate credit 
  • Grand opening credit 
  • Display allowance credit
  • New Product Marketing rebate 
  • Contractor & Project Selling      rebate

Requirements

  

  • High School diploma 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office
  • Two (2) years related experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
  • Well organized and detail oriented

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions in this job grade, with the final offer depending on factors like experience, education, location, and other relevant considerations. Additionally, this role qualifies for extra benefits beyond the base pay range mentioned.
