Labor Finders in Vallejo is immediately looking to hire an experienced OFFICE ASSISTANT / SCALE OPERATOR for an area metal scrapyard that has an immediate need.

Position: Office Assistant / Clerical
Pay: $20-$23/Hour To Start
Environment: Metal Scrapyard
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Vallejo, CA
Length: Temp-To-Hire Potential
Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Job Summary: The recycling yard Scale Operator will be in charge of processing customer vehicles, measuring weights on intake and exit.

Job Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Weigh both commercial trucks and non-commercial vehicles.
Keep detailed records.
Direct vehicle traffic
General customer service.

Skills Needed:

Working understanding of PC computers
Working understand of MS Excel and Word
Previous experience in customer service
Conversational English and Spanish

Preferred:

10 years’ experience in a related field
Forklift or other machinery experience

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 18 years of age to apply.
