CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls, solve problems, process orders and provide exceptional service for customers.
• Provide delivery information on orders as well as stock & pricing.
• Process orders, CFA's and memo request over the phone
• Process faxed memo request daily (min 5).
• Process replacement orders, claims for customer relating to existing order or potential/pending orders.
• Process cancellations, mill inquiries & look ups as needed.
• Interface with other departments practice safety & good housekeeping. Uses materials safely.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Basic math, above average written & oral communication skills, demonstrates leadership skills.
• Basic knowledge of word, excel, computer, 10 key skills & type at least 35 wpm.
• Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, highly confidential environment.
