Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a leading statewide provider of commercial service and new construction solutions, specializing in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and maintenance services. Headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and quality workmanship to our clients across California and neighboring states.

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers by providing responsive support, addressing inquiries, coordinating communication, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience or familiarity with commercial construction terminology, service operations, or the trades industry is highly preferred.

Schedule

  • Tuesday to Saturday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email or external client portals
  • Provide accurate information about products, work orders, and policies
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and empathy
  • Document customer interactions and update account information as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or a related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and MS Office Suite
  • Type accurately and consistently at 40 words per minute (WPM)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus
