Job Description - Customer Service Team Member

Job Summary

The Customer Service Team Member is a front-line sales position responsible for driving revenue through wash package upgrades and unlimited membership sales. This role engages customers, explains service options, recommends appropriate packages, and closes sales while ensuring accurate transaction processing and professional service.

Performance in this position is measured by membership conversions, upsell rates, and overall contribution to site revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and initiate service-focused sales conversations

• Clearly explain wash packages, pricing, and membership benefits

• Recommend upgrades and actively promote unlimited wash memberships

• Meet or exceed individual sales and conversion goals

• Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions accurately

• Maintain proper cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation

• Address customer questions professionally and confidently

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier and lobby areas

• Follow company sales procedures, policies, and safety standards

• Support overall site operations as needed

Performance Expectations

• Offer membership options to every customer

• Achieve defined sales and conversion targets

• Maintain high transaction accuracy

• Contribute to customer retention and revenue growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous sales, retail, or commission-based experience preferred

• Comfortable initiating conversations and asking for the sale

• Strong communication and persuasive skills

• Basic computer and point-of-sale proficiency

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
