Customer Service Teller - Continuous Learning Opportunities

What you will be doing:

• Greets and welcomes members to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner, providing prompt, accurate and efficient member transactions.
• Maintains an up to date comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by tellers. Maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive on all related policies, procedures, and rules and regulations, including robbery procedures.
• Performs all teller related duties. Reconciles daily teller work and prepares/uploads deposit to corporate credit union. Balances daily work and verifies cash totals. Reconciles daily check deposit and uploads file to EasCorp. Performs opening and closing accounts, assisting members,
• Receives consumer and real estate lending applications, processes/prepares the loan for a loan officer, and disburses approved loans. Full responsibility for the lending area including accepting applications, processing applications, and disbursing Loan Officer approved loans. Conducts all follow with title and deeds and any filing requirements for lending activity.
• Prepares and communicates daily/weekly/monthly reports of credit union loan activity. Also responsible for monthly reporting for both Member Service and Lending area.
• Understands and complies with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Credit Union's policies and procedures.
• Performs all OFAC and FinCEN scans of the database.
• Promotes, explains, and cross sells credit union services and products. Attends to all phone, in-person, mail, and fax inquiries and transaction requests. ATM and Debit card concerns and orders. Performs a variety of account maintenance and clerical duties. Performs daily share draft and ACH files and exceptions as well as occasionally performing Courtesy Pay daily duties.
• Performs all ATM/Debit card operation functions, including but not limited to, card ordering, card blocking, card research, PIN changes, fraud research, and card maintenance.
