Cut-Down

Description

As a Manufacturing Technician - Cut-Down this position is responsible for removing the excess flang from tubs. Essential job functions are as follows:

• Trim the hold-down flange from the tub. 
• Route tub to drilling area.
• Purge filters on dust collectors twice daily.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Follow safety procedures specific to work area including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.

Requirements

• Work in a normal manufacturing environment, the work area is not climate controlled.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Willing to work Monday - Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30pm, occasional Friday work all paid at time and a half.
• Ability to understand and adhere to written and verbal instructions. 
• Potential for chemical odor and dust exist. 
• Ability to work well with a wide range of people.
• Basic knowledge of proper use of circular and reciprocating saws.
