Program Summary
The Community Works Project (CWP) is a 2-agency collaborative project that provides job preparation and placement services to participants enrolled in the TANF (Temporary Assistance to Need Families) program who are required to engage in the JOBS (Job Opportunities Basic Skills) program. CWP serves ODHS (Oregon Department of Human Services) District 2 locations.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and student-centered ESL and Adult Basic Education Instructor to join our team. This role supports Adult English Language Learning through English language classes, English language tutoring, and Employment focused English language tutoring. This role will also teach basic literacy classes including reading, writing, spelling, and speaking (8th grade level or lower) and basic math classes including arithmetic functions, percentages, understanding tables and graphs, and other basic math concepts (8th grade or lower).
