What You’ll Do

SimpliSafe is seeking Project Managers who are passionate about our people, our products, our processes, our services, and most importantly, our customers. You'll be responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of complex projects from initiation to completion and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all CS/Tech projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in scope. The ideal candidate must be resilient, willing to take strategic risks, and have a keen eye for detail! Primary Responsibilities Include:
Developing comprehensive project plans with timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones.
Overseeing project execution to ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget completion.
Coordinating effectively with, but not limited to: engineering, design, marketing, finance, and customer support teams to deliver projects seamlessly; acting as a central point of contact and ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders.
Monitoring project progress and developing risk mitigation strategies as necessary to address emerging issues and keep projects on track.
Conduct regular reviews and quality checks throughout project life cycles to ensure projects meet SimpliSafe's high-quality standards and exceed customer requirements.
Strategically managing project resources, including personnel and budget, to optimize team productivity and achieve project goals.
Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including leadership.
Gathering feedback and effectively communicating any changes in project scope or direction.
Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and preparing and presenting clear and concise reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Ability to identify gaps in process, iterate for continuous improvement, and/or create net new procedures that make our work more effective and efficient
Create playbooks and processes that feed lines of business needs reducing rework, redundancy, re-creation
Strong ability to manage and foster expectations across all channels, levels, and workstreams
Identified key data needs, build our project requirements, track data trends, and influence project outcomes with data driven decisions
Motivating and guiding project team members to achieve project objectives; Providing mentorship and support to cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment.
Conducting post-project evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned to optimize future projects.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the security industry.
Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to manage expectations of each project/program
Ability to escalate and identify risks by coming with prepared recommendations and solutions
Strong ability to identify data needs, organize data, and report trends / insights to all parties
Experience in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience with home security systems and or the broader security industry
Experience using Sprinklr, Tableau, a customer interaction management tool, or similar platforms.
Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).
Six Sigma/Lean Certification/Knowledge
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
