Cyber Security Consultant

Zurich North America is currently hiring a Cloud Security Consultant and this person will work in a hybrid schedule at the Schaumburg, IL NA Headquarters. This person will report to a Cybersecurity Senior Manager.

Responsibilities:

Consultative role, write gap analysis, documentation, work with operations to share knowledge and drive remediation, consult with the business
Cloud related responsibilities - securing what's in the cloud, identifying, communicating and driving risk mitigation
Cloud and non-cloud related security risks, identifying risks across applications within the business unit
Work with technical people to identify a plan to remediate the risk
3rd party risk assessments - work with third party vendors by performing risk assessments to identify risk and drive remediation
Evaluate applications, ensuring there are appropriate security guardrails around the application and/or system
Communicate with different levels of the organization regarding risks and the plans to mitigate the risk, reporting
Work in collaboration with other IT security, security operations, cyber security teams
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR
Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Cyber Security Certification and 6 or more years experience in the Information Technology area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area AND
MS Office experience AND
Knowledge of Cyber Security Operations
Preferred Qualifications: Project management skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to work with and consult different parts of the business and levels of IT
Background with Power BI
Knowledge of Azure and AWS
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Access)
